I'm cutting this because it's a little long and also I know some people might not appreciate this message, but

you should read this )

Basically, this guy is arguing that if gay marriage is legalized and homosexuality is recognized as socially acceptable, all men will find sex with men more appealing than sex with women (yay cock!) and women will be left out in the cold because they'll be stuck with other women and obviously be sexually unsatisfied (omg where's the cock?)

While I was reading it I couldn't stop thinking that really, this dude would make a perfect fangirl with his "automatically make everybody gay" attitude. Hahaha.

(Also, I just discovered that this is the only icon I have with two men in it! Hm.)

Which Came First: The Objectification Of Sarah Palin, Or The Mistrust In Her Competence? Interesting.

In other news, I had a mini-breakdown yesterday. I have no idea why. I think I'm okay now.

I didn't watch Bones or Supernatural tonight, because I figured I should, like... do homework instead. Laaaaame. I didn't really get much done. But a little bit! I had a busy day and have been kind of exhausted since about 6 PM. *sigh*

I did finally watch this week's Leverage, though! That was pretty awesome. I have SO much love for Hardison, it is kind of unbelievable.

In his inauguration speech, President Obama (how long till I get used to saying that? Haha) said, "...we have duties to ourselves, our nation and the world, duties that we do not grudgingly accept but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character than giving our all to a difficult task." I think I need to post that in big letters on my wall where I can always see it and be inspired. ;-) Because right now I am NOT feeling satisfied/inspired/motivated by attempting to work on the difficult tasks I have.

I feel like my eyes are burning from lack of sleep. That's probably not a good sign.

Tomorrow there will be protests around the country against California's Prop 8 and Florida, Arkansas, and Arizona's anti-gay marriage/rights legislation as well, so if you are available and believe in LGBTQ equality, go protest, no matter what state (or country, even!) you live in.

For more information about where protests will be taking place, check here.

From [ profile] bubbleslayer and [ profile] elysium1996:

If you saw me in a police car, what would you think I got arrested for? Answer, then if you want, post to your own journal and see how many crimes you get accused of?

I found a link somewhere to this site earlier and it actually kind of made me TEAR UP. Man. I have a hard time recognizing the opinions of people who disagree with me as valid, so it was really heartening to see that some people ARE able to get over themselves. (Unlike me.)

I had the day off of school today (Happy Veterans Day, y'all), and I spent the entire day lazing around reading fanfiction. It was pretty great. And then, this evening, I finally watched Numb3rs. I thought it was pretty good. I liked the ending scene.

I voted! \o/

And then I ate soup. Yum.

Now I have a half hour to decide if I'm unlazy enough to go to the gym before class. Hmmm...

I had a dream last night in which I was part of some sort of... treasure hunt? Scavenger hunt? (Is there a difference between those?) Anyway, the goal was to go out and find something related to Proposition 8.

(I am obviously OBSESSED if I am dreaming about it now.)

Anyway, at the beginning of the hunt, I think Alan Eppes might have been one of my competitors, but I can't remember anyone else. At the END, when we all gathered together again, we sat in a circle of folding chairs to show what we'd all found, and I was sitting next to Jared Padalecki. And a couple seats over from him was Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

UM. So. Jared and I were all friendly and FAMILIAR, and... He has this HAIR, you know. So at one point I reached over and ran my fingers through the hair at the back of his head, and he kind of reached back and grabbed my hand like it was tickling him or something. And then he HELD MY HAND.

I have a page in one of my notebooks dedicated for any flashes of brilliance I may get about the Jensen-in-a-dress story [ profile] akussaset and I are working on (which in my mind I've titled "Belle of the Ball," heh), and so far the only thing written on it is:

Jensen - lipgloss - blowjob?

Cut because the rest of the post is a little long )

[ profile] akussaset, honey, are you around?
