N'aaaww, Steve Carlson.

So I was lazing about in bed this morning (as I am wont to do), and suddenly hear my Dad talking (exaggeratedly loudly, standing right outside my door) about, "OH, we got a package from Smoking Lion Music, and I don't know what it is, so maybe...." and so of course I immediately jumped out bed going, "No, no, it's mine!!!!!!!"

Yes, my Steve Carlson Band Christmas CD came today. I opened the package to find it was tied in red and green ribbon (!!!!!) and there was a card (!!!!!!!!!) with it, which when I opened it, was signed, with thanks, by Steve Carlson himself (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Well, that last bit is assuming he doesn't use a stamp (which, you know, I can tell by looking at it that it's handwritten) or hire Jensen his friends to forge his signature WHICH I DON'T THINK HE DOES. :-)

Front of the card has a fancy Christmas wreath and "Season's Greetings" and the inside has (printed) "Wishing you a Beautiful Holiday Season and a New Year of Peace and Happiness" and he's written "Thank You!!! Steve Carlson"

Awww. I think the ribbon and card are very sweet touches. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

And I love the music, too. Today I am just... full of love for Steve Carlson. YAY.

I understand the fear and distrust, and I have a lot of issues with radical and fundamentalist Islamists. But the measures some people want to go to are completely, just, insane. And disturbing.

In case you're wondering why I'm making this post, it's so I'll have something to send my teacher when he asks me why the fuck I haven't written my paper. "Teacher, you don't understand, I had to spend the evening looking for the perfect dress! It's harder to find, when you're shopping for a guy. You have to keep in mind his lack of breasts and everything."

My teacher's a nice guy, but. That's not gonna fly. Heh. Oh well. My motto when it comes to schoolwork is, "It'll git done eventually."

Sooo, Jayred's throwing a party, and all the fair maidens in the land everyone at the CW is invited, but, um--see, I don't know how cracky to make this!!--Chad totally sabotages Jensen's wardrobe so he has nothing to wear, and so Jensen's all crying, going, "I wish I could go to the ball Jared's party!" when Chris shows up and puts him in his pretty dress, and then Jensen goes and Jared dances with him all night while Chad glowers in the corner.

AH! But what happens at midnight? Oh NOEZ!
