random things for a Monday morning

Haha, I Can Has Cheezburger is like my favorite thing ever. SO FUNNY.

As I (think I've?) mentioned before, for Lent I'm going to bed before 12 every night. Last night I got distracted and didn't realize it was midnight until it was, well, midnight, at which point I went and brushed my teeth and jumped into bed. But! Before I'd noticed the time, I'd been just starting to work on a fic involving Jo, that would fit very nicely into my Jo/Amita 'verse and will also fulfill a challenge. \o/

So then I was thinking about that while lying in bed. And then I woke up this morning really early, thinking about... writing fanfic. (Though nothing in particular).

Anyway, this fic will be pre-Amita, and I'd been planning on writing all the pre-Amita stuff as drabbles in my drabble123 Jo table. But this fic will definitely be more than 100 words. But that's okay! And if that's okay, that means I could write other, longer Jo pieces, if I so desired. I just can't decide if I do want to or not. Poor Jo is so neglected, and I feel like I have Things to Say about her. Maybe.

(I read this quote from Kripke the other day where he was asked about Jo, and he was like, "What? What is there to wonder about her? Her storyline is completely closed! I thought we finished it off nicely." and I got a liiiittle bit pissed off.)

*yawns* It's 8:54 AM, I have to leave in about a half hour, and I wish I was looking as gorgeous and well-put-together as Aya in my icon. :-)

Also! At some point I would like to do a music post. Don't let me forget.

Paging Professor Ross...(!)

So today in my math class we learned about factorials! Which I somehow hadn't known about before!

The thing was, my teacher didn't totally EXPLAIN that "!" was the sign for factorials before he started using it! So I couldn't figure out why he kept writing, like, "5! x (7-3)!" ("Math is not that exciting!" I thought to myself.) It was like being taught statistics by Panic(!) at the Disco!

The first year, Ryan Ross wrote 65 songs. 50 of them were emo. The next year, he wrote 70 songs, and only 30 of them were emo. On average, how emo was Ryan over the two years? What effect might this have on his wardrobe? Extra credit: Quantify the amount of influence Jon Walker had on Ryan's demeanor.

(The sad thing is that most of y'all are not into bandom. You're MISSING OUT, you guys.)

Oh, hey, just wondering... I haven't read a ton of reviews of SPN 3x10, so I'm not sure if, like, everybody else made this connection or if it was just me. But.

Did the episode make anybody else think of The Wizard of Oz?
