They say his name and he can only sit there at first while applause breaks out around him. When he stands, Jared hugs him, tight and rocking, then pushes him towards the stage. Jensen climbs the stairs in a daze, accepts the trophy with a kiss from Jennifer motherfuckin' Aniston, and finally stands in front of the microphone, bright lights and all eyes on him, the weight of the statue solid under his hand.
"I, uh. Thank you, I..." he starts, overwhelmed, but he recovers to thank his parents and God and the fans, and--
"Jared. I love you, man."
