So the Bones finale is basically a FANFIC AU?

I FEEL REALLY WEIRD ABOUT THIS.

(I am also only 2 minutes into it, so we'll see how this goes.)

OH, or is this going to turn out to be some crazy dream Booth has while in surgery? Hmmmmm...

ALSO. Booth's brother is really HOT, quite frankly. I would totally WATCH a show where he and Cam were partners, omg.

Ahahaha, "I'm a bartender... I'm practically a psychologist." Overall I am a little unsure about the way they're changing the characters... I feel like the show's writers could actually learn from fanfic writers. Why is Angela suddenly not visual? (Ack, but then later she is, I see!)

I'm glad they have the hot intern guy. Mmm.

ALSO, Jared/Angela is HOT, omg. I would like to see that too.

Also, how the hell did they get Mötley Crüe? Haha.

WHO ARE YOU? That is an excellent ending, actually, omg.

What a WEIRD yet intriguing episode! I don't quite know what to think.

No, I AM behind! I have been putting off watching the last two episodes because I had heard some WEIRD THINGS about them and I was nervous that they would be terrible!

I got through the "I want to have a baby" one and am not sure how I feel about it, but this... idk, I am going to try to enjoy this! We'll see.

Hahaha. Oh the baby one. This season has been pretty good of Bones, but every now and then the writers would throw in these random things. Like that and this episode.

The baby thing... like, okay, you know me. I'm a member of fecundfic. I am all about babies, for sure. But... in FANFICTION. If that episode had been a fic, I would've been ALL OVER IT, probably. But as an episode it feels weird and sudden and out of place! I feel like they didn't handle it very well. :-/

I kind of dig the tumor thing, because much as I love Booth's hallucinations, since the show is grounded in reality/science, I like having that explanation.

And while I didn't necessarily think the last episode was bad, I agree that it was kind of an odd choice for the FINALE. Hmm. I like the ending though! Yikes!

Hahaha. I love babies and children too. I felt that the episode was odd and kind of weird, but that it would be true to, I guess, Bones's character and personality to want a baby eventually and that way (like not in a committed relationship because she doesn't believe in marriage). I just wish they would have developed it more or something.

I digged the tumor also and I liked that story line.

I agree. I liked the episode, but it was a waste to me as a finale. I wanted something big and amazing and I didn't get that till that very end.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was trying to get at. Like, idk, I felt like they rushed through it and it made the episode feel sort of unbalanced... I feel like maybe it would've worked better as a two-episode storyline? idk.

This story line in this episode was total fanfiction. But I did love that they threw that in with Jared and then the end where they are like: You helped me, Let me help you. *sigh*

One thing that was kind of fun about it was the little jokes/references they were able to throw in... Like when Sweets introduced his band and then clarified, "I'm not Gormogon... a lot of people think I am, but I'm not," or whatever, referring to the speculation that Sweets was the killer back in... S3, I guess? Who can keep track anymore.

And yes, um, if you click the source link at ontd there are some VERY NSFW pictures, omg. I was scandalized a little bit because I didn't realize they would be THAT DIRTY.

Cappie is excellent! He's such a REAL BOY. I like the love triangle because the other guy (Evan? I can't remember if that's right) is also kind of great despite the cheating. So there isn't a really obvious best choice, imo. CONFLICTING.

I also love the conservative Christian roommate with the Confederate flag hanging in his room. TERRIBLE but HILARIOUS.

Cappie is awesome because he is such a BOY! I think that is what makes this show so great. It's real people. They don't try to over do it sometimes and it's just awesome. Awww. Evan. Wait till S2 with Evan.
