Haha, yes! Although I discovered that, as gratifying as it is to be responsible for every little element of the story, it's also kind of intimidating to be responsible for every element... including the crappy parts. Ha.
I was trying to throw together a plot treatment for a feminist action movie as my final project for my Gender class. It kind of worked! But I'm not thrilled with the result because I took so long to decide on a project that I didn't leave myself enough time to develop everything.
You write so beautifully, I'm sure you can come up with original material. (If nothing else, just use a fan fic and change the names. haha. Hey man, I didn't get a PhD in chemistry by not learning some short cuts. *evil grin*)
