Why HELLO there!

Guess who's HOME!?!?!?!
:-)
I almost posted this last night, right after I got home from the airport, but I couldn't bring myself to actually turn on the computer and post. Our flight yesterday from Baltimore was scheduled to leave at about 5:35. At that time, we were all on the plane, it was all good and... we ended up sitting on the tarmac until 8:00.
FUN. I wish y'all could've been there. ;-)
I guess there were thunderstorms and wind changes that were preventing (at least some) flights from the East from flying West, so actually our crew for our connecting flight (in Chicago) were delayed as well. So we didn't miss our connection; it was delayed to about an hour and 20 minutes after we got to the Chicago airport (which is nice, btw. I like those crazy glowy neon light thingys above the moving walkway!)
We got home (to our house, that is) at about 2:00 AM last night (or, this morning)... which would be, holy shit, 5:00 AM East Coast time.
So yeah. That's that. I'm a little wary of tackling my flist but if we must we must, yes? :-) I also know I have a couple of comments to respond to...
If you posted or saw anything you particularly think I should (or would want to) see, go ahead and help me out by dropping a link here! :-)
I MISSED YOU GUYS! *kisses*

Date: 2007-06-13 10:34 pm (UTC)Yeah, the plane ride was a little rough... *sigh* I don't like plane trips that begin in the afternoon/night. Give me a 6 AM flight and I'm there, but 6 PM just ends up being draining because you can't really sleep on a plane. Ugh. But hey, better than driving. LOL.
