sororcula: (Don thrilling heroics)
Okay, so Kripke may have thought that that little hug he had Dean give Sam in the finale was, you know, REALLY SOMETHING, but I have to say Kring OWNS him on the brotherly love. Holy shit.

Did you guys SEE that? Were you grinning as much as I was? (And then tearing up, OMG!)

Incestuous Heroes quote of the week:

should I cut this? )

I am not the only one who giggled at this, yes? ;-)

Dear Black Donnellys creators... )

Dear Heroes creators... )

So, let's see... I got my paper back today, and got a 'B+' on it, which. I guess that's good, right? During my break I went to Longs and bought some new mascara, which is always good. Bio was boring, but after lab was the first time I actually started to feel happy all day (no lie, I almost started crying on the treadmill... this must be PMS, right? Otherwise I'm just depressed), and I think it was because lab requires me to actually spend time and interact with people, namely my lab partners, who are both really nice girls.

(I might have a slight crush on one of them, but shh, don't tell.) ;-)

One thing that pissed me off today? Well:

Dear high school students in my city... )

No baby at volunteering tonight, but I rediscovered an adorable trait little kids have. We watched Rescuers Down Under for part of the time, and at the part where the little boy is slipping off the cliff near the beginning, when he's freeing the bird? I kind of gasped, like, uh-oh! And the boy who was watching it turned to me very seriously and said, "Don't worry, he won't fall." N'awww. Thank goodness he quelled my fears even though I've seen the movie a hundred times. (I love the Rescuers Down Under. I have a little bit of a crush on the Australian mouse. I think he's really sexy. For a mouse. You know.)

So yeah, I got my daddy to stop and buy ice cream on the way home just 'cause I wanted it, even though he balked, saying we might miss Heroes. LMAO. This is adorable, because if you ask him, he'll tell you he doesn't watch or like TV. And yet he watches all but one of my shows with me. Hee! It's also adorable because stopping in to the store took less than five minutes, and we made the checker laugh. All we were buying was the half gallon of ice cream...

Checker: Do you want a bag?
Daddy: No, that's alright...
Me (to Daddy): We might need a spoon, though.
Checker: *smiles*
Daddy: Well, two, I guess. Unless you were planning on eating it with your hands?

I don't know if I mentioned this, but the Bay Area finally has a country radio station again. This is awesome, although I like the one down in San Jose better... it just doesn't come in very clearly. But today they played this song: Ladies Love Country Boys by Trace Adkins (lyrics), which was fun. :-)

So yeah. Crappy day that got better with a good dinner, little kids, and sexy brothers. :-)
